Swastic Union Win Under-16 Championship

Swastic Union CC (1)  easily defeated Jawahars (1) by 10 wickets in the finals of the KSCA Under 16 league tournament at the NAL grounds today.
 
Swastic won the toss and elected to field. Medium pacers Lateef Patel ( 4 for 21 from 10 overs) and Sahas ( 5 for 27 from 10 overs ) ran through the Jawahars line up.  Jawahars were 44 for 9 and thanks to an unbeaten 24 by Naresh and a few extras managed to reach 82 before being bowled out in 30.5 overs.
 
Chasing 83 for a win, Abhinav Manohar ( 55 not out, 78 balls, 7 fours and 1 six ) and Satish ( 23 not out, 82 balls , 1 six ) got the required runs to beat Jawahars comfortably before the rains came down heavily.
 
Brief Scores : Jawahars Sports Club (1) 82 all out in 30.5 overs ( Naresh M 24 no., Lateef Patel 4 for 21, Sahas S 5 for 27 ) lost to SUCC (1) 84 for no loss ( Abhinav Manohar 55 no., Satish 23 no., ) by 10 wickets
