Cricketer, Nottinghamshire and England Academy
I was recommended to KIOC by former Indian cricketer Hemang Badani a friend of mine. I wanted to develop specific things and my overall game. Being a women cricketer it is not always easy to find the right place.
Kayle Peshotan Sepai
Cricketer, Colchester - England.
Trained at KIOC for 8 weeks and did one-on-one sessions with Irfan Sait.
I considered myself very fortunate when I was given a chance to train at KIOC. I have found training at KIOC a world different from what I have seen at quiet a few clubs in England. In India the cricket is more competitive and there is far better quantity and quality of players simply because of the amount of people that are interested in cricket, and also a lot of other factors such as weather, proper guidance and most importantly the opportunities to train and develop into a good cricketer is not only great, there is also enough practice. It is hard to become a good cricketer from grass root level in England because there is not enough serious cricket, cricket has taken more of a social course more towards playing rather then improving, which is why I have found not only the cricket to be better in India but most importantly the attitude of the players and the coaches is a lot different from the attitude of players in England.
Working with Irfan Sait during one on one sessions has been a great expeirence, I had so much fun and learnt so much that my life has changed. Irfan Sait really cared about me and my progress and I am so grateful for the hard work he put in to help me become a better cricketer. I was at KIOC for a very short time but the progress I made was great, it would have taken me 2 to 3 years to make the same progress in England. The exposure to high profile players made me step up like I would never have back in England. I have seen academies both in England and in India and this is the type of opportunity I have been waiting for my whole life and I got that at KIOC, I dont think there is a better place for a serious cricketer.
We do all we can within our means to provide the Best of facilities and training to our wards at competitive prices.
At KIOC, we do our best to expose our trainees to very scientific High Performance Training programmes, along with tools to help monitor, track and assess progress of our wards. Bowling machines, Video Analysis and Sports Analysis software are few of the facilities our trainees enjoy.
KIOC conducts annual tours to countries like Sri lanka, Australia, England and other states in India. These tours are extremely popular as the trainees get much needed exposure and better understand the demands of touring life.
KIOC provides hostel facility for overseas and out-station trainees on daily, monthly or annual basis.
